That was my first ever reference sheet, and that was only like four years ago. Also

That was the extent of my comic abilities. I AM ASHAMED, but I am also glad, because I guess it means I’ve gotten a lot better!

But yeah! Not saying I’m a terrific artist, but I’ve certainly improved quite a bit.

So next time you think you suck and won’t get better, look at this post and realize that, hey, at least you’re not as bad as I was.

Flip brings up a good point. This was the extent of my ref making skills like… 4-5 years ago. Point is progress can be made. But in my case… it was improvement in both drawing and writing. Spare yourself the pain and don’t read the ref (You probably will now)
